It's been told that she was James Dean's girlfriend. The dark lady from a 1950's tv show. She was the horror hostess but what she is today? Is she even living anymore?

An interesting little documentary about Maila "Vampira" Nurmi. Director Mika J. Ripatti shows introduces us to Ms. Nurmi's past and present but he doesn't make the subject look any odder or lovelier than she was or is. However, he could have shown something more, nothing scandalous but just more theatre, film and television history. Maila Nurmi herself is as fantastic and funny as she can be.
