Director Pirjo Honkasalo introduces us to a little Russian girl, who has been "out" of the society since a holy man found out that she has demons. The girl, Tanjuska, lives alone with his father, who makes everything to save his daughter.

This documentary affects emotionally. It's a powerful story created by almost one woman alone. If it wasn't a documentary, it could be easily a horror flick. The only minus for the whole thing is the soundtrack. At times it's really hard to heard the narrator.
