Röllis are trolls which live in forests. Most of them are scary but not all of them. The main character, simply named as Rölli, is peaceful and only a little scary. Only with other trolls he acts like bad boy.

Rölli is known from the Finnish television. The tv serie has been shown there for years and all the characters are made by actor Allu (Allan) Tuppurainen. This film was made after the tv serie. In this flick Rölli falls in love with a lovely fairy and tries to keep their forest clean. The sweet little troll makes his best to save the nature. An instructive story with lots of fantasy. The film won Jussi prizes (Finnish Oscars) for best actress and costumes & make-up. There's also a sequel (Rölli ja metsänhenki, 2001).
