Matti Kassila had that something. Well, Mr. Häyrinen is excellent as reporter Toivo Teräsvuori, but what makes this film special is that the story has happened really (reporter Usko Santavuori did a robbery in his radio program in Helsinki, Finland, years ago and he also had problems with police in this case). Matti Kassila succeed to give the film a touch which makes it still very enjoyable.
TRIVIA: This was Aarne Tarkas' first movie script. Mr. Tarkas (who is better known as director) can be seen in the beginning of the film as stuntman for Mr. Häyrinen (the parachutist scene).
