Actor, director, set decorator, script writer

Mr. Salminen looked like a cool Hollywood villain. He had a tiny dark moustache, thin body, often a tidy outfit and dark suit. He started as set decorator but after a while he became an actor and director.

Although he got many times very bad scripts to direct, he was always meticulous in his work. He had a talent to make glorious looking musicals when the time and money were short. Mr. Salminen's son Ville-Veikko Salminen was also an actor.
