Petteri Summanen is best remembered as a member of the comedy team, who did Monty Pythonesque tv serie Studio Julmahuvi (in 1998 and 2000). Before that the same group created a parodical documentary of a boy band (Joyboys Story, 1997). This documentary won international prizes.

This humble looking guy graduated from Teatterikorkeakoulu in 1994. Since then he's been acting in many TV series. His face has became familiar also in Isänmaan toivot (1998) and Rikospoliisi Maria Kallio (2003, as Maria Kallio's husband). He got his first leading role in the movie Nousukausi (2003).
