Director, property man

Mr. Saarikivi directed many kinds of movies, for example a sports movie 'Into open water' (Avoveteen, 1939) but also three parts for the Suomisen perhe movie series. He started his movie career in mid 1930's as a property man in Suomi-Filmi. From 1947 he worked in the very same company as the chief of the short films department.
