Mr. Pöysti started as a child actor in the Suomisen perhe movie serie (1942-1959) playing there a character that was very similar to Andy Hardy (in USA). Thanks for his flexibility, he could continue his movie career also after that. Lasse Pöysti was one of the first tv program makers in Finland.

Today he works both in Finnish and Swedish theatres, lives in France and writes books. His son Tom Pöysti is also an actor.
