A famous and notable character in the Finnish movie and political world. He has written many books in Finnish and Swedish, one of the many is Nya Boken om Vårt Land.
Mr. Donner's first movies were scandalous because of their nudity etc. This far Mr. Donner is the only Finn, who has won the Oscar (from Swedish film by Ingmar Bergman Fanny and Alexander).
