A brother of actor Joel Rinne and husband of actress Ansa Ikonen. Best remembered from his role as "Siltalan pehtoori".

Mr. Rinne was theatre councillor since 1968. He was also a remarkable character in Finnish actor alliance (Näyttelijäliitto). He leaded it 1936-1975.
