Director, set decorator

A husband of the actress Helena Kara. Mr. Leminen started as set decorator in 1938 but became soon a movie director. His filmography includes light comedy but also tragedy. In 1950's Mr. Leminen directed the official document movies of the Finnish Olympic games. He made his last movie in 1957. Then he moved from Suomi-Filmi to Mainos-Televisio.

He was the leader of Finnish television channel TV2 1965-1974.
