Actress, theatre leader

A dark beauty, wife of actor Eino Jurkka and sister of actor Arvi Tuomi. She and Vappu Jurkka founded their own theatre, Teatteri Jurkka, in 1953. Without them the Finnish thearte world wouldn't be as rich as it is nowadays.

Mrs. Jurkka's sons Sakari (b. 1923) and Jussi Jurkka and daughter Vappu (b. 1927) are also actors.
