Based on two songs (one by Harry Bergström and Tatu Pekkarinen and the other by Erkki Salama). There's very little depth in this movie. It tells about lovely Sanni who escapes from a guy to the ferryboat and gets a job there. Then, of course, there will be a romance and since this is a musical, a lot of singing too (mainly by Kipparikvartetti). Sounds pretty boring and that it also is.
TRIVIA: The production title for the movie was Savotan Sanni.
TRIVIA#2: This was Kalle Viherpuu's last movie role. He died before the movie was released.
