Mr. Kassila's version of the great Niskavuori saga. This movie is a combination of two different stories but still it's somewhat more lame than any of the old Niskavuori movies. Maybe that's because the old Niskavuori movies are B/W which gives the certain loom for the film and its characters.

TRIVIA: Loviisa was Rauni Luoma's last movie role. Originally she played Heta Niskavuori in the old Niskavuori film serie.
