A head of the musical family Orasto finds a poor young lady Maija crying on the street. She tells lies about her past and Mr. Orasto takes her into his home. He gives her work to do and a little by little she becomes as friends with the Orastos. The younger mister Orasto falls in love with Maija and composes a musical piece to her.

The story is somewhat too sweet but the actors do quite nice work although some of the smaller parts are over-acted. Anyhow, this is not a special movie.
