The story takes place in Finland about a hundred years ago. There's war going on, also in that small village, where the priest Patrick Sillman lives. He tries to stay away from it 'till his secret takes him over. A story about love and hate.

Mr. Heiskanen does perfect work in the main role. His acting is very small and therefore pleasant to watch. Same goes with the whole film.
