An orphan girl Leena tries to steal goods and gets gaught. Reporter Lauri Huurros saves the girl. He says that she did it for the newspaper and she is actually his fiancée. Later they fall in love but Leena's old robber friends find her and start to blackmail her. Nice twists and happy athmosphere.
This was the very first Irina Krohn movie ever. She was still studying acting at the school when she start to act in movies. Because she was succesful, she left her studies. Although the movie is old, her talent is clear to see. Thanks for the (quite) witty script and professional workers behind and infront of the camera, the movie is still pretty entertaining.
TRIVIA: The Russian title of the movie means an arrogant girl. The movie was shown in 1956 Russia.
TRIVIA#2: The producer Veikko Itkonen can be seen in two cameo roles in this movie: as a man in the department store and as captain in the airplane.
