A Finnish ship is visiting in Spain. The captain misses his Spanish lover and their daughter. A Spanish (and half Finnish) dancing girl finds out that the ship is Finnish and escapes from her evil stepfather to the ship. She wants to find her real father but she has no money for a trip. The girl has to cut her hair and dress up like a boy - otherwise the lonely dancing girl wouldn't be safe among the sailors.

Easy story, funny characters and lots of happy faces. It's a nice little movie but not a historical "treasure".

TRIVIA: There was a scene with a sailor who had a tattoeed naked woman on his chest. It was cut because they thought that the picture was too naughty.
