A big singer star Mauno Kuusisto seems to be the only issue why this movie was ever made. The plot is dull and acting... Well, the main stars, Tamara Lund and Mr. Kuusisto were better singers than actors.
The story tells about a travelling tradesman who stops in a beautiful little village where he meets Liina, his new love. Liina is promised to another guy and that brings up difficulties. The story could be told in ten minutes but songs make the film longer. Sadly they are pretty boring and the silly echo effect make them sound irritating.
TRIVIA: the chokecherry in the movie was painted and decorated to look like it was really blooming. The real flowers had died already when they start the shooting.
