It's like a long and hot summer day. There's a guy who tries constantly move a big rock - because of something that his father once said to him. And there's a bunch of women who just babble and babble. A guy, who has moved to Sweden. Wedding quests. Lots of tiny stories in one.

Director Markku Pölönen has coloured this film with certain kind of humour which makes its characters loveable. He is not (luckily) just one new "Aki Kaurismäki" but a man who has something own ingenuine to give. Great casting, everything works nicely together. No wonder that this movie was a big success.

TRIVIA: Actor Pertti Koivula had to put his weight up about 20 kg for his role.
TRIVIA#2: The movie won three Jussi prizes (Finnish Oscars), one for the best movie, one for directing and one for supporting actor (Matti Varjo).
