Aldebaran Rising is a strong emotional trip. It consists of footage that can look a bit same than the footage of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey or Andrei Tarkovsky's Stalker. Despite they are totally unique and different.

Aldebaran Rising is like a long music video with the music of Finnish post rock band Magyar Posse. The band played the score originally live with the movie. Such performances can have faults but those faults are mostly just like delicious spice for the audience. Since Aldebaran Rising doesn't really have dialogue but only pictures, it can be difficult to follow and understand.
